- Kentucky_JoeExplorerWe enjoyed Blennerhassett and Fenton Glass, but felt nervous camping at the fairgrounds as we were the only people in the park. No one even to check you in. Next time we would want to stay somewhere else. There was also a cg next to the fairgrounds, but it looked kind of rough.IMHO
- cjosephExplorerin addition to the above:
Bike the
North Bend Rail Trail
Camp at
North Bend State Park
The rail trail has some old tunnels. The park is close to Parkersburg - wrvondExplorer IIMarietta has a sternwheeler museum near the fairgrounds.

Yes, yes and yes! :B
We love anything outdoors, historical places to visit, unique places to shop etc. We are open to anything, especially things that lets us see what the area is all about.
Thanks for asking!! - jeb5ExplorerFenton Glass. Beautiful products, Expensive. Purchase a lamp for your memories and for your children to admire.

- beemerphile1ExplorerVisit the Lafayette Hotel. It is on the junction of the Ohio and Muskingum rivers.
Visit Blennerhassett island for a touch of history.
Visit the glass factories.
Visit the Wayne National Forest.
Drive route 26 and see several covered bridges.
Visit the wood worker store in Parkersburg.
These are just some things off the top of my head, the spelling may not be correct. I'm sure there are more things in the area.
