Parking area at the Founders Grove -- California Hy 101

Highway 101 at exit 663 May one overnight at the the parking area at the Founders Grove trail head without any problems? We wish to hike the area and will need to spend the night dry camping.

If the answer were yes, you would not be the only one there, and it would be packed with people hanging out. Destination areas have always had problems with campers/homeless/full timers wanting to stay, and use the facilities, while not paying to camp.
