The lot there is not very large. We were able to park our 25’ Motorhome (no tow vehicle) and saw one other class C, but we were both lucky to fit . The rest were cars and it was full and busy with a lot of traffic on a late May weekday morning. Not what I'd call a camping area, strictly short term. Enjoyable, easy walk through the redwoods attracts a lot of people of all ages.
Agree about the campground next to the visitor center, and about taking time to see it. They have an interesting film about the Weott flood, and the volunteers were exceptionally friendly.
