Parks near El Dorado Arkansas

I will be traveling south on HWY167 towards the end of March. Am wondering if anybody could give me some up to date info on the following parks located around El Dorado Arkansas.

Per RV Park Review
Union County Sports Complex review Aug 2016 "7"
Country Living RV Park review Jun 2017 "5"
Gator Den RV Park review Apr 2016 "6.3

Any new info would be a help!
  • I would search for each of them in this Forum and maybe do a Google search as well; for comments.
  • If you are heading down into LA on 167, Ruston is one hour south of El Dorado. Lincoln Parish Park is located about 4 miles from Ruston. All paved full hookup sites for $25 per night.
  • Thanks LaTriker,
I picked El Dorado as being half way for Branson to Abbeville. I have looked at the parks in Ruston, and I think I will be adding on the additional hour driving.
  • I did some research on RV Campgrounds in this area for our upcoming trip on rvparkreviews.com and found 4 camps that were scored as average. Google on the same camps were lower so I decided to extend my day to Magnolia. We will be traveling west on Rt 82 so Magnolia doesn't help you, however it seems one of these should be fine for one night.
  • If you decide on Lincoln Parish Park, you can turn right off of US167 in Vienna. Turn on to LA 3072 and drive 3 miles to LA33. Turn right on 33 and the entrance to the park is one mile on the right. You can call (318) 251-5156 for reservations. No credit card or deposit required. I camp there with my 41’ MH so you will have no problem with your rig.
  • Craig7h, I think you will enjoy Lincoln Park. Also, when you get to Abbeville and you are hungry please try Shuck's for great Cajun food.
  • LaTriker and Kit Carson thanks for the info, I will use both. Am staying at Bettys in Abbeville as its been said here shes the greatest, will see.
