Several years ago, I stayed at
Atlanta Marietta RV Resort. The sites were pretty close together, but as I was visiting family and just needed a spot for the night, it was fine. Didn't use any of the facilities and the pool was closed as it was Thanksgiving. There appeared to be some longer term campers, but I didn't have any issues with them. There were also folks coming in and out during the time I was there. It was very convenient to Marietta locations.
Much less conventient to Marietta will be the COE parks on Lake Lanier or Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain. You will find out that folks living in ATL can easily spend an hour and half in traffic to get 15 miles.
If your buiness requires you to drive during rush hours... avoid I75 (especiallly north of city) and I285. Stay close where you can take surface streets (and some of them get bad too) or travel during off hours (before 6 am or after 7pm)
