Phoenix AZ, suggestions for sites and must see places pls

Hi All
My Wife and I are on vacation here from the UK in a rental 30 ft class c. Having a great time so far.

Would like to spend some time in Phoenix. Currently in Tucson but have to leave on Feb 1 as park here is booked up.

Can anybody suggest some good sites for a week or so in Phoenix Pls?

And any suggestions on 'must see' whilst we are ther?

    The previous posts gave you some suggestions what to see, so I will mention that the places to stay you might consider are any State Park, Regional Park, or County Park. For instance, Maricopa County Parks (Usery Mountain, McDowell Mountain, etc.), are very pleasant, roomy, and if you check RVparkreviews are highly rated by those who stay there.

    Since you are in Tuscon now, have you visited the Biosphere 2 in Oracle? We loved it, and it has a very interesting history.

    We're at Canyon Vistas RV Resort in Gold Canyon. Desert Botanical Garden in Tempe. Take the guided tour, it's free. Western Museum in Scottsdale. Just opened this week.

    We were in az in December. We only flew into Phoenix (no camping, we went there for a graduation). We spent a week in Sedona prior to the graduation, and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful places I've seen. It's only about a two hour drive north of Phoenix and well worth spending at least a couple of days there.
