Cumberland Gap NP? Some of their sites have power which should have some available during the week. You can take the cave tour if you are willing to hike up the 3/4 mile to the entrance.
Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY may also be of interest.
A bit out of the way, but for bike ride, check out the VA Creeper Trail out of Damascus, VA. This could easily be added in with a stop at Cumberland Gap NP. Pay the $18 for the shuttle to take you to the top and then have a 17 mile down hill bike ride. Getting a bit on the cool side for the young ones, but on a warm afternoon may be okay.
