Pokagon State Park in Indiana campground questions
In May we will be up in Auburn Indiana for a car auction. We are planning on visiting Pokagon State Park after the auction. We have never been there and wanted some suggestion on selecting a camp site to reserve..
At the auction we will be dry camping or electricity only so we will want a electic 30 or 50 amp (we shouldn't need both air conditioners in May so 30 amps will do) and maybe water. We have a 37 foot Tradewinds 8.5' wide 12.5 ' tall. I plan on taking a motorcycle to use as a toad.
I don't have any problems backing in but I would like it to be fairly level so I can keep at least 2 or 3 of the tires on the ground. In May sun shouldn't be that much of a problem, so shade isn't a requirement. Not too far from the showers as when we stay in modern campground we usually use the campground showers. Are there any spots to stay away for due to noise or trails going through them?
Since we have never been to Pokagon State Park just want to check and see if anyone on here had any suggestions.
Thanks for your anticipated cooperation.
