Hi,
Thank you to all for your thoughts.
Salt Creek sounds about perfect except I am concerned about the ~1/2 hour commute into Port Angeles every day. If I dove in to drop my wife off, then back to the CG (or somewhere else to hike), then back to town each afternoon, I could be spending up to about 2 hours commuting each day.
Fort Worden would be to far and the KOA, likely, too expensive for my needs. Have been looking at Elwha Dam RV park, but we are really not RV park kind of folks.
Trailer is 21 feet long and I don't need power or water so wondering about Heart O' the Hills CG up in the park???? I realize I would have to leave the park to hike (bummer), but it would be a straight shot into town each morning to drop my wife off then off somewhere to hike.
Continued comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
