Public CG phone app

I have used almost every app for finding campsites. The best all around is the Allstays Camp and RV. This guy worked his tail off on this app. It is a paid for app and I do hate to pay for them, but this is worth it.

Wow, thanks for posting this! I had not heard of Dean's list before. It seems to be mostly unofficial boondocking spots, which makes it a great addition to other resources. Something different.

We've been using The Ultimate Campgrounds Project for several years and find it far ahead of all the others in the locations it list. For example, take a look at Canyonlands NP in Utah and compare to the others.

I'm quite sure the Ultimate Campgrounds website and apps are all from the same folks, for the data is identical.

As others have said, it deals only with public spots - no commercial CG's are inluded.

They list public campgrounds not on your other sites, I've checked.

I haven't used their Phone Ap, only their GPS POI data base, so I can only comment on their data-base.

They are head and shoulders above any one else for public campgrounds. They are the only campground data base I have seen (I've looked at all of the popular ones, including those listed above) that lists some public campgrounds I call "hidden gems".

No I'm not going to list them, I like hidden gems.

I use both AllStays Camp & RV & the Ultimate Campground app. If I'm looking for non commercial campgrounds, the Ultimate Campground app seems to have more listed than AllStays. My favorite non commercial app was Campwhere, however it was only available for iOS, and is no longer available...

I haven't purchased that app, so I can't comment on it. For campgrounds of all types, I've found the free "RV Parky" app to be very useful.
