I know at Doheny beach (no hookups) there is a row of campsites on the sand facing ocean. Many class A rigs pull forward so they view the beach through their windshield. Of course toyhaulers and some other rigs are backing in. It would be interesting to note the ratio and maybe that could give a hint for how many sites to designate as pull-in. FWIW my class C I would back in. I use a vinyl privacy cover on the windshield, and my back window is bigger than my windshield.
