Quarantine???

Well, now that lies and mismanagement have allowed ebola into Texas .... where does that leave Snowbirds?

I assume it will be possible to enter an area and find ones self under quarantine. If we are stuck .... and we overstay the allowed 183 days in the USA, where does this leave us???

It would leave you calling the Canadian Embassy but frankly if we get to the point where there is a large scale quarantine, notably in Texas, there is going to be a lot more to worry about than a stay limit. Besides the US has surrendered don't you remember the white flags on the Brooklyn Bridge?
  • Its just to bad that if we had to have a first case, it had to be in Texas where it seems the Health Department there is to inept to handle it.
  • Really? Texas is really big. I don't think you'll have any problems...

    Lookin for work?
  • Hope at home.:B Im glad we are going to Az, but still have thru Dallas.:M
  • If this wasn't so serious it would be really funny. You can't move a horse or cow from state to state in this country without blood test results and you can fly a person from Liberia to this country when ebola is a known problem without blood test results is irresponsible. This isn't about someone lying. Cows and horses can't even talk and they are detected from state to state. These guys in the CDC are idiots.
