Highway 260 goes through Cottonwood. While it does connect to 89A which goes in to Sedona, IMO Highway 179 is the preferred route into Sedona....more direct and breathtaking.
Highway 30 connects I-17 with Cottonwood thru Cornville. I've driven it in a car many times. Good road but wasn't noticing if there were any issues for an RV at the time.
I greatly prefer taking 260 to 89 to Sedona over 179. The route is 5 miles longer but much faster and easier drive with an RV. Little to no traffic as is common on 179 south of Sedona although depends on time of day. 179 is very scenic however.
