I think campgrounds are becoming as noisy as cities. Generators, speakers on the outside of RVs, boom-boxes where they have no outdoor speakers, etc. Just the normal, many-people noises.
For those of us who want a quieter experience, we have to boondock, or find the lightly-used campgrounds. You don't go to a popular lake on the weekends and not expect to hear boats all day. Same with popular campgrounds, unfortunately.
