Have lived in the Texas panhandle for over 60yrs. The one thing you can depend on(especially with spring approaching), is the unpredictability of the weather. It could be snowing, raining, hailing. That's all in the same day. I would check with the park first. They shut down a lot of things for winter. You might not have water or other services. The old saying is, "If you don't like the weather. Wait around a couple of hours. It'll change."
