recomendations for Colorado Springs

Trying to get feedback as to some good CG's in Colorado Springs CO area? I have been to Mountaindale rv resort, at that time stayed in cabin, nice place but pricey. Family will be doing site seeing things , hanging out, etc...
Have looked at rv park reviews but seemed like reviews was not what I expected? Has any one had good or bad stays at any CG in the area especially here lately?

thanks
  • Another vote for Cheyenne Mountain SP. If you have a dog, they have a very nice dog park called Bear Creek Dog Park.
  • For an area that gets so much tourism, it has lousy RV parks and campgrounds. The RV parks are trashy and sites are jammed close together.

Cheyenne Mountain S.P. is the only one that I would consider.
  • We stayed at Cheyenne Mt. 2 years ago and loved it. Had a huge pull through along side the road with a beautiful view. They have some great walking trails and a nice pool.

Cheyenne Mt and Mountaindalle are the 2 best. You will need to call ASAP for reservations as they are both very busy.

X2! As far as I'm concerned these are the only two parks worth staying at in the Colorado Springs area.
