Resort near New Orleans
Can anyone suggest a park which is nice with level sites and also most important, safe? We don't like sitting on dirt or mud in case it rains. I was told don't stay in New Orleans because of the crime...

We like Ponthatrain Landing. It is on the water, safe, minutes from downtown and is nicely landscaped. It is affordable for the NO area. They also have a shuttle which goes to the Quarter several times during the day and night. One draw back is that it is dusty.
