While trundling down the road I put a carefully washed egg in my drip coffee pot. In thirty minutes I have a nicely cooked hard boiled egg, and some lovely coffee for breakfast. Do check the temperature of the water in the pot. To be safe it must be at 160 f or higher.
I use slow cooker liners in pots. It makes clean up a snap.
