Agreed. No one is advocating dumping your black tank on public lands, although I believe it is still NOT illegal (unfortunately) in NFS outside of developed campgrounds.
Again, DO NOT dump your black tank on the ground.
To extend my black tank capacity, I have enlisted a whole passel of the Blitz 6+ gallon cans. I have a macerator pump and can easily xfer black tank contents into it. I wipe the full tanks down and put them on a tarp in the back of my rig and portage them to the nearest dump, when shopping for groceries.
