We were rafting down the John Day river in Oregon a few years ago. A container to collect and carry out all human waste was required and inspected by state rangers before we were allowed to go on the river.
During the trip I noted cow solid waste often. Even saw what an old timer called bear solid waste. Going for a walk one must be vigilant for the dog solid waste thats everywhere these days. Humans have burned animal solid waste to cook food for many years.
Yet we think of our own solid waste as special and carry it around then treat it expensively.
Don't you think thats interesting, we are strange creatures.
