I always run out of water before battery. After 7 days my batteries will still be at 50 SOC, but my 60 gals tank would be empty if I am not careful. I use many techniques previously posted. The two things that save me the most water are only using the hot water faucet by turning the HMH on 10-20 mins before my wife takes her shower depending on outside temps. I usually camp by rivers so from May to Oct I clean up in the river, after that we usually are in the south anyways. Being a backpacker when younger also helps.
For boondocking, 60 gallons is a lot of water to go through in 7 days. My rig carries 80 gallons and the three of us can do two weeks and have water left over. I wonder where you use most of your water? How long are your showers?
