This is why, if we know that we will need the A/C, we turn it on first thing in the morning, before the interior heats up. This way the Honda rarely pops out of eco since the compressor doesn't kick on very often. We also put the Honda on a 50' extension cord which places it about 75' away. Wind noise is louder.
