Unfortunately the Roanoke area does not have many options. The KOA at Natural Bridge, about 45 minutes or so up I-81 will be your best bet, or Claytor Lake State Park about an hour or so south on I-81 as another alternative. They will be somewhat easier for you to get to Roanoke if you are unfamiliar with the area.
