Douthat has some of the top rated mountain biking in the country. Every trail is open to bikes EXCEPT the one that goes around the lake. Too many hikers.
There are four campgrounds, all with WE and dump stations EXCEPT the one right on the lake. It has dump station but no electric or water at sites.
The Buckhorne Campground, just outside the park has full hookups.
We lived in Clifton Forge for 12 years and just moved to Florida in November.
All campgrounds have restrooms and showers. The first park campground just past the Buckhorne is only two years old.
