Rockport storms

Last night we had another severe thunderstorm some hail gusts of wind to 60 mph. Local social media reported one travel trailer flipped with 2 people in side needing assistance to get out. Second like this in a week. Plentyfull rainfall has the mosquitoes out in force
  • FYI, there are 18 states that have a town named Rockport.

That is my most vivid memory of Rockport. Prior to spending a month there it rain 12 inches in one day. A week later little tiny mosquitoes, a week later I was killing 4-5 with every slap.

If you're a snowbird you learn pretty fast to pick a park with paved roads and cement pads on high land if you're in the Rockport area.
  • There is a Rockport Missouri too but I'm assuming he's talking about Texas. Called my father in Corpus Christi last night and he said they had sever weather with 60 mph winds.
