Just my 2 cents... I don't really spend a lot of time worrying about the attitude or pleasantness of somebody that I will likely never interact with again. Sure its nice if they are pleasant, but does that change anything?
Its like people that complain about the person at the front desk of the RV park. I don't know about anyone else, but I check in at the front desk and then never go back to the front desk. I am there to CAMP, not to chit-chat with the front desk staff. Its not going to ruin my vacation at all if some random person I never have to talk to again is having a bad day. I've stayed in a ritzy RV resort in Florida that was $110 a night (I know... we needed to get out of the snow for a couple weeks...). The lady at the front desk couldn't be bothered by us. They normally deal with retirees with expensive class A's and 5ers. We were the only travel trailer and the smallest by a looooooooooooooong shot. We were also the youngest couple there by at least 40 years. The front desk lady was very curt with us. That didn't affect the weather, location, views or experience for us. It was still gorgeous and we had a great (albeit EXPENSIVE) trip to Florida that year. If it wasn't so expensive, I would have gone back to that resort... her attitude not withstanding.
I read reviews of restaurants and people RAVE about the food but give low overall reviews because the waiter is rude. WHO CARES? The waiters job is to bring me food. If the food is delicious, I don't really care about the waiter. Bring me my food and replenish my drinks as needed. I could care less if you were rude. Actually, I might enjoy it because I will likely tip less. I go to the restaurant for food, not companionship.
OP, how often do you plan on dealing with the manager in the future if you do rent the space? Does it matter if they are rude or nice? Are you required to have a conversation with them in order to drop off or pick up your RV? Either the place meets your physical needs or not. I don't understand the need to have an emotional attachment with the people employed by the lot who apparently aren't at the lot anyways...
I don't understand people being so hypersensitive to the littlest of things. The great thing about America is there is always SOMEPLACE ELSE. If your tushie got hurt because this lady didn't hold your hand, go park somewhere else. If this is the best RV storage in your area and an amazing price, you can either get over yourself or lose out on a deal.
