This is why we prefer state or federal parks. We went from Pa to Yellowstone and back. We paid $16 a night in Iowa, $19 in Missouri, $23 in Nebraska, $21 in Illinois and $26 in Ohio. All state parks,all had electric hookups ,all were very nice with room between sites. We also stayed at 2 private campgrounds. Both were decent. One was $34 a night for water and electric, the other was $49 a night for full hookups. Both were nice. The first one we were very close to our neighbors. The other had nice separation between sites.
