RV Park near Zion & Bryce?

We're planning a trip this August - going to Zion, Bryce and then Grand Canyon. We already have an RV Park set up at Grand Canyon, but would like advice on where to stay closer to the Zion/Bryce area. Thanks in advance for any help you could give.
  • We stayed at Hitch-N-Post in Panguitch for Bryce. We liked the location and the people. Heard some good things about Ruby's at the entrance, but no personal experience.

Stayed in Glendale at Bauer's Canyon RV park. It was a nice park. We were early so they weren't fully open at the time. Site was nice. There are closer places to Zion, and have heard multiple times about Watchmans in the park, RESERVE EARLY!

Thanks for the great ideas. We plan on trying to stay at Watchmans at Zion. Does anyone have a recommended loop to stay in? Or are all the loops/sites great?

A is nearer the VC and trolleys. I like B better. Check the website, some sites have 50 amp if needed.

Ruby's at Bryce, and inside Zion at Watchman's.... Watchman's only has water and electric but there is a dump station adjacent to the park... Make reservations early.

This is about as good as it gets. Enjoy....
When traveling 12 between the parks, it would be great to plan a few hours at Red Canyon. Several short hikes there. Even a CG if you want to spend the night. It could also be a short day trip from Bryce.
  • I stayed at a KOA about half way between them and took the toad to the parks.
