Maybe the first thing is not to over plan the route and stays. Expect your plans to change due to road conditions, fire and smoke closures, and weather. On your list of city names, I didn't see ones in the Yukon and British Columbia. Most repeat visitors spend weeks, not days, in Northern BC and the Yukon. I agree that the Church book is the better resource, much easier for me to find spots. My first trip up I did not know about the Tour Saver book. I got one each time on most of my last few trips up but I have not been back up since 2019. I didn't really save any money with the two for ones, we just did twice as many excursions. I fish so lot of my movements from one location to another were following the salmon runs. We seldom stayed in the same place for two weeks but did revisit almost every place except Fairbanks and Delta Junction. There were no bad places
