I'd say this applies to a good 30% of the parks I've been to. I suppose they get away with it because of the transience of anyone who might care. I wish people posting RV park reviews would give more details and note such discrepancies, as I do.

I've been more fortunate with Rv park reviews, really haven't had a bad experience since using the site...though usually I'm posting questions about the campground on one of the camping forums also...helps increase my odds of a good camping experience. That said I will ignore most reviews that are just about a beef with a campground owner or some incident or if the review doesn't fall within the same pattern of the other reviews.
