RV parks for visiting Bardstown & Louisville KY?

We have reviewed rvparkreviews & trip advisor, but are having trouble finding a winner for visiting this area... We prefer FHU sites with 50 amp. Don’t have any kids or pets. We like to be close to attractions, dining & grocery, but aren’t interested in shopping. Are we missing something? We plan on being in the area 9 nights, so we could relocate if that made the most sense. Looking for that needle in a haystack! (We have a large fifth wheel.). Thanks!
  • There is a State Park in Bardstown, has six sites full hook up, but only 30 amp. Park is right in Bardstown, we stay there every year during KY Music Week.

  • There's a KOA across the river in Jeffersonville, Indiana. If you're looking for a bedroom camp spot, this is a pretty decent park. Of course, sites are all parallel and fairly close. But if all your looking for is a place to park and sleep, rest, eat and then get out to visit the area some more, it's not a bad place at all, or a bad location. We stayed there about 4 nights when a Barry Manalow concert was going on at the KFC Yum Center just across the river.
  • Grandmas campground in shepherdsville ky next door to the awesome fea market , about halfway between both easy on off I 65
