RV PARKS IN THE MOUNT RUSHMORE AREA
I have a 40 foot class A with 4 slide outs. I will be going to Mount Rushmore June of 2014. I have never been there before and am looking for a best RV park close to Mount Rushmore. Any information...

Although I am seriously dyslexic, I'm pretty sure you want to go left to head down the mountain to Keystone, or right toward Hill city. The side view of George is heading toward Hill City.
As to the OP, call Rafter J and make a reservation for the "Island". You won't be disappointed. We have spent many weeks as guests there over the last two decades, and it has always been a wonderful experience. There are several separate camping areas. The island seems to be where the big rigs congregate. The sites are huge, long gravel spots, plenty of space between sites, and in a beautiful meadow.
