RV Parks Near Johnson City, TX

I'm planning a final week-long trip before winterizing my travel trailer. I would like recommendations for an RV park in the vicinity of Johnson City, TX. My only real requirement is FULL hookups. Thanks
  • Only one I know of near Johnson City is Roadrunner RV park just south of town. Looks nice but I have never stayed there.
There are several on 290 west closer to Fredericksburg, Jellystone RV, Bending Oaks Ranch (formerly a KOA), and a new one called Arch Ray RV Resort. Along with some smaller ones. I go thru that area frequently but have never stayed at any of those.
You can use google maps, zoom in, and search for RV parks in that area, see what is there, and read reviews of them.

Watauga Dam, near Elizabethton is awesome. Its a TVA campground, very scenic.

Oops...I thought I read Johnson City, Tn. 15 yard penalty lol.

I'd head towards Bandera from Johnson City, Tx. Cowboy capital RV park is ok, we went there a few years ago

Thanks, Bob! I think I'll stay a bit closer to home for this final trip of the year. :B

I would take a hard look at Peach County - great rates

Thanks! I booked a week at Peach Country RV and it is ideal for what I needed.

You will not be that far from Fredericksburg.
A must see is the National Museum of the Pacific War.

There is alot of very good German restaurants there also.
