That's all we use also. However, the only things we keep a log of is all of the campgrounds we have stayed at along with specific site numbers and area activities for future reference for ourselves or people who inquire about them. Our notebook is partitioned off for each state and Canada.
We do not keep a travel diary and find no need to track anything else. Really helps reduce unnecessary clutter.
