SACRAMENTO RV park recommendations?

Cal Expo RV Park is close to the five. No frills but it is safe and near dining and shopping.

Sac West RV Park

Formerly KOA. Nice friendly staff.

The nearest one to Sac. that I use is called "FLAG CITY" right off I- 5 at the aHwy. 12 exit. Big truck stop and separate good RV park. Going north it is on the right about 100 yards. Sacramento has 1 RV park at the State Expo park, not rated very high and you have to drive through downtown traffic. The next good RV park is at the Rolling Hills Casino in Corning Calif. about 40 miles north of Sac.

Sac West is nice. Not cheap but only about 4 miles from downtown.

As already stated by other....Flag City RV at intersection of I-5 and Highway 12 ......or north to Rolling Hills Casino ...off I-5 exit at Liberal Ave.near Corning.

Yolo County Fairground in Woodland is a Ok CG close to I5.

Be aware that I5 traffic N of Sac is heavy with the new Amazon distribution center next to the airport.

We lived in Seattle for 35 years so we’re well versed in traffic lol. Rolling Hills Casino it is! Thank you for all your help everybody!!

I stayed at a KOA a couple nights. Seemed fine.
