I can't confirm but was told that CG is now closed?
For what it's worth...
Just last month we were at the Fashion Show Mall, and were headed for the Westgate. We were just going to walk since it was a nice afternoon, so we asked a parking attendant for directions. She and the other attendant both said we shouldn't, because there is a dodgy area in between. There is a swath of large abandoned construction projects on the south side of Circus Circus and across the street to the east. Dodgy? I don't know. Take a look on Google Maps Street View and get an idea. Staying at Circus Circus is popular, but put some thought into your route if you are walking from there to/from the Convention Center. - billkaufmannExplorer

Oasis has a daily charge for wifi per device. We are going for 6 days, that seems excessive.
Sorry to hear that you're basing your vacation on wifi. Pop in at Starbucks or McDonalds every so often. - JeepCBExplorerOasis was awesome! Not cheap, but it was a lot nicer than I expected it to be. Breakfast at the café was good too! You could try getting one of those hotspots...

I'm going to also chime in that depending on RV park wifi is something you may want to think about. Many RV parks have terrible wifi-almost unusable in the evening if the park is full.
I think the suggestion above is good. If you just need a daily check of your computer, a visit to Starbucks, McDonalds etc. would do fine. If you're more wedded to your computer, I'd look into smartphone wifi hotspot, aircard, or mifi router type arrangement.
It would be a shame, over time, to limit yourself to certain RV parks just based on what kind of wifi they had. - OCAonlineExplorer

We are not basing our decision on wifi. We are there for a martial arts tournament and will need to keep up on work and schoolwork during the week. I was actually more interested in hearing about RV parks in safe neighborhoods as we will be in and out of the park at all different times of day.
