Highly recommend Doheny state park and Crystal Cove state park. Both will accommodate the 27' Airstream. Doheny has row of higher price campsites right on sand. Others very close to sand. No hookups there-but dump station. A few restaurants within walkable mile or so. I like quirky Olamendis (DÃa de Muertos art etc. etc.)
Crystal Cove Moro campground just north of Laguna Beach. On a bluff about 150 ft. above sea level overlooking ocean. Terraced campsites with some ocean view, some with water and electric-for that matter don't think you'll fit in the dry sites. Very scenic and beach is bit of a walk. Javiers' restaurant is pretty good and Laguna Beach has some unique non chain restaurants and attractions. I'd check Yelp and see what appeals to you.
