San Francisco big rig friendly parks

When visiting San Francisco, where have you stayed? We have a 40' motorhome and tow. I have been looking on the Northern & Eastern side of San Francisco. I have been digging for a few hours and still haven't found a good one.
  • We stayed at the County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. It is basically a large level parking lot with hookups. The park is close to a BART station t take you to San Fran and is lower cost. In addition, Pleasanton is a very nice city with a nice downtown area with good restaurants. It worked well for us.
  • Look into San Francisco RV Resort in Pacifica. Good location to visit the city. You might also check out the KOA in Petaluma. Nice park but just too far from San Francisco in traffic. And there is never a time when there is no traffic.
  • Have you tried Candlestick RV Park? A bit pricey, but conveniently located.
