We would like to camp within thirty or so miles. DH does not want to pull our rig into heavy traffic to park. Have visited rvparkreviews but can't find anything.
Look up the BART and Ferry routes and find a CG near a terminal that you can walk or drive to. Some parks also have shuttle service to those locations or a taxi might work out.
Personally I'd avoid Candlestick and the Oakland area due to the neighborhoods.
Pacificia should be a good choice.
Coyote Point with limited hookups is close to BART and the South San Francisco ferry. It's also near the SFO flight path.
There are several CGs to the north and you can take the ferry, Petaluma, etc plus the ferry from Vallejo.
You can drive the TV but it can be very slow during rush hour and will almost always be congested in SF. And parking can be a challenge.
