I went to Knight's key on Linda's recommendation a few years ago and really liked it. That on site restaurant is very convenient. IIRC, they have a tiki bar on the other side of the harbor.
2 films, 2 fast 2 furious and True Lies filmed scenes on the old 7 mile bridge. The Harrier sequence was filmed in the parking lot right across from the campground. 2 Fast scene was filmed on the island in the middle of the old bridge.
