Myakka State park is nice. Been there and like it alot. Another state park we visited, and are planning on camping at is Oscar Sherer. Nice little park. When we can't find a place to stay, we call Sun-N-Fun RV resort. It's a large RV resort, does have the park homes, but do have a lot of camping spots. Make no mistake, it's a RV park, and it's a bit crowded, but we enjoyed it.
