South Carolina and North Carolina

Yes we have had a lot of rain since Friday night here in SC. But it seems the media as usual is trying to make it sound much worse than it generally is. I live right on Lake Marion which is currently about 4 feet low below from being full. If you look at radar that is also where the stream of moisture has been crossing SC since Friday PM. Yes there are flooded areas but they seem to be the usual low spots along the immediate coast and some sections of roads that are in low areas and frequently flood. I am 45 miles or so inland from the coast and the elevation is only 75 feet or so above sea level.

I just get tired of the media and others over-hyping things!
