That so called "WATER HOSE" event between the Hurricane and the NOREASTERN weather systems may be extending all the way to the Smoky Mtns around Gatlinburg... Almost all of the camp grounds in that area are along the Little River...
We was tent camping at ELKMONT CAMP one weekend and the rangers just evacuated several of us campers... I was fast enough to break camp and left the area. A whole bunch of TENTS and camping items was found the next morning a couple miles downstream all piled up on sharp turn of the Little River inside the park...
Hopefully after todays events we will start seeing some clearing up things along the East coastal areas here in Virginia... Myrtle Beach and North Carolina is next on the hit list now... All we are getting here is a continuous slow drizzle of rain with wind gusts in the 25-30MPH for the past several days...
