Any favorite camping areas near the Sawtooth National Recreation Area or the Craters of the Moon National Monument? We are on our way back to SoCal from Glacier NP and have a few days to kill.

Just got home from Glacier and on the way home also visited Craters of the Moon. Stayed at Mountain View RV Park & Cafe in Arco,ID, which I highly recommend. Good Sam park, FHUs, big trees (we had site D2)and FREE breakfast every morning (2 very large pancakes, 2 eggs and coffee/tea), very nice owners. Mt. View is about 18 miles to Craters of Moon, which we enjoyed. Spent one day doing the drive and hikes in the park; second day enjoying the caves/lava tubes. Also toured the EBR-1 (Experimental Breeder Reactor) Nuclear Site in that area, which was great. Safe travels.
