Walking distance < 1/2 mile to Walmart, Fry's Grocery and lots of food choices - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIAny particular reason to go to Casa Grande? There's a lot more to do in Apache Junction or the Tucson area.
- Me_AgainExplorer IIIA lot of people seem to like to be in the middle of no where AKA Casa Granda! Silverado was only $350 a month last winter! Noise for I-10 is an issue. Chris

Silverado is in itself a nice park, seems well run and clean, only Eloy has zero, zip and nothing close as far as real shopping, eating places and activites that being closer to town would provide. If being out of town that far with so little close to do is what they are looking for I would suggest Silverado. - larry_barnhartExplorer

just thinking that time of arrival could be full maybe. I guess they will call for a reservation.
chevman - ralphnjoannExplorerThanks for all the suggestions. We are both fairly laid back so Silverado and Sunscape sound good. The plan is to try Silverado first and if that doesn't work, we'll go for Sunscape next.
- Paleo_RonExplorerThere's also a nice state park called Picacho Peak between Casa Grande and Tucson. Electrical hookups but no water hookup; you'll have to fill up instead. Casa Grande is about a half hour away if you need groceries. I often stay there.
