Suggestions Wanted for Park in Casa Grande, AZ

Saw where the temps in Eloy/Casa Grande will be in the 100's until September. We love the area in the Winter but could not live there year around.

Hot enough in Reno during the summer....even at 4,400'.

we did not notice a cow smell last winter at Casa Grande. Traffic north of Casa Grande plus shooting's kinda makes us feel better where we stay but life has changed since 2008 and who knows what can happen. Nice to be in at night .

We do not smell them either as the one near town on Jimmy Kerr closed.
On the other end the one near the mall closed because of the Phoenix Mart that is supposed be built.

Silverado is about 11 minutes South of Casa Grande...not a real long tiring trip as suggested. We found good dining in the immediate area, and other sight seeing things to do, but still made the long trip (remember about 11 minutes) to Casa Grande for additional choices.

Mesa?? Been there and don't prefer all the hustle and bustle that you will get in the Phoenix metro-plex.

Eloy is only a short trip from Tucson and Phoenix (been to both) if you want to be in the 'big cities'...we don't.

Why Casa Grande? There is limited amount of things to do - 2 weeks and we were always bored, which is why we now stay in Mesa because there are just so much more to do and & see in the Phoenix area. Costs are about the same (electricity is usually cheaper) and we never smell the stockyards.

There's also a nice state park called Picacho Peak between Casa Grande and Tucson. Electrical hookups but no water hookup; you'll have to fill up instead. Casa Grande is about a half hour away if you need groceries. I often stay there.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We are both fairly laid back so Silverado and Sunscape sound good. The plan is to try Silverado first and if that doesn't work, we'll go for Sunscape next.

Silverado is in itself a nice park, seems well run and clean, only Eloy has zero, zip and nothing close as far as real shopping, eating places and activites that being closer to town would provide. If being out of town that far with so little close to do is what they are looking for I would suggest Silverado.

just thinking that time of arrival could be full maybe. I guess they will call for a reservation.
