Texas beach RV'ng

Hi,

Looking for a nice place on the gulf coast to stay at an RV park on the beach and relax. Something with a great ocean view as well as a nice beach that you can swim in. We live in west Tx so it's not that far of a drive - but I've never been to the Tx coast and don't know where to go. Suggestions? Thank you so much!

    We stay right on the beach in Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Peninsula near Galveston. Cost is $10.00 per year. Once a week or so we go a little way up the road to a commercial CG do laundry, eat at restaurant, dump tanks fill fresh water and head right back to beach. WE park about 15 feet from the water

    It didn't used to be, they did change a lot of stuff since I was in school.
