Texas Beaches
Hi Folks, Late, but deciding on whether to go to a national park or the beach in August. Never been to Texas beaches. Any suggestions? Live in Tucson, so Corpus is the closest. Steve

Texas with its barrier Islands that run for almost all of the East Gulf Coast should have plenty of beach places camp sites...
I think the PADRE Islands only have road traffic on the upper portion of it...
Use GOOGLE MAPS and run up and down the Gulf side and search for RV Camp grounds... We use this tool all the time looking for different camp ground when traveling...
