I don't think the DW and our traveling companions (they also have a small Class C) would agree to traveling to, and camping at, the RT in our Class C. If a service vehicle would follow along ... I'd try it. Camping out there would be very interesting and probably put one in a very exclusive club. Our chassis is an under-loaded E450, so it could take it ... but the LR E tires probably couldn't.
Ourselves and our traveling companions have taken our rigs 25 miles each way at 7-10 MPH on extreme washboard into the Oregon outback. Level travel though, no stream bed crossings or uphill dirt climbs and the weather was ultra-dry.
