We are fortunate to live where we do as the Milky Way is often visible from our campsites. We were just at Dead Horse Point in Utah a couple of weeks ago and it was clear every night.
I see the Milky Way a lot more now than 20 or 30 years ago. Something about that 3:00 a.m. trip to the bathroom that wasn't required when I was younger. ;)
