other than good heavy duty all terrain tire did you need 4 wheel drive to get there.. also what type of tires you run on the truck.
Saw some toyo ata outback? tires on a truck today and they look a good all terrain tire for sure.
4WD was handy. Don't think I required it. Helped when driving slow up some inclines with loose rocks. Wasn't required at 70mph on the wash board areas. Probably not required unless you continue past the Race Track, and at that point you probably want a Jeep.
